1. The farming and food future being created is more corporate, supermarket, and agri-business creating mono-cultural deserts and mindless consumerism – plus genetic modification.
2. There is an alternative. We can feed ourselves, well, with higher welfare, ecological, mixed, diverse and complex farming. This is not a biological issue.
3. Everyone currently “farms” three times a day. What we eat and who we
buy from determines the farming that is done. Conscious customers
benefit their health, local economy, our children’s future, the landscape
and wildlife.
4. It is by creating enterprises and being customers that we can make a difference.
5. We can do all we can do to buy direct from and create local, ecological food and farming alternatives. We can create an honest brand, jointly owned by people, farm based and with inspirational objectives.
6. We, people and farmers are coming together to do this, to share knowledge and build our own alternatives and prove that human-scale enterprises can be replicable, resilient and ecologically viable alternatives.
You can sign up now to be a pioneer investor in the Agrarian Renaissance from only £10.
We are also building a farm network and want to hear about any farms that are already offering an alternative direct to customers.
